It felt violating for the call to come through one of my employer's official channels. This week, I received a recruiting email on my official Adobe email. I booked @DavidSmooke to appear 2 weeks ago but then I cancelled for 2 weeks in a row. He hasn't been answering my Twitter messages this week so I don't know if he will show. The Recruiting Animal Show needs a breath of fresh air so I asked JerryTheRecruiter to experiment with the Google Hangout. There were a number of minor mishaps that wd probably make it klutzy to use for awhile. For instance I had to figure out how to reset the settings to suit my headset and Jerry had the sound coming thru his speakers feeding into his space mic. We weren't ready for prime time.
